Dr. Bruce Kingsbury is a distinguished professor in the Biology Department at Purdue University Fort Wayne, where he also directs the Environmental Resources Center (ERC). Since obtaining his Ph.D. from the University of California Riverside in 1992, Dr. Kingsbury has dedicated his career to the study of wildlife ecology, behavior, and conservation, with a particular focus on imperiled reptiles. His extensive research, supported by over three million dollars in grants, includes significant work on species like the Eastern Massasauga and Copper-bellied Watersnake. Dr. Kingsbury has shared his insights with the Hoosier Herp Society, contributing to our understanding of reptile conservation and habitat management.
