Dr. Robert (Bob) Brodman

Dr. Robert (Bob) Brodman, a seasoned biologist and professor at Claremont McKenna College, specializes in ecology, zoology, and evolution. Earning his PhD from Kent State University, he has taught extensively, chaired the Biology Department at Saint Joseph's College in Indiana, and developed a robust undergraduate research program. His research focuses on the ecological impacts of herbicides, climate change, and farming practices on amphibians and reptiles, as well as the behavioral ecology of various wildlife. With over 50 peer-reviewed articles and extensive long-term studies in the Midwest, Dr. Brodman is a leading expert in conservation. He has shared his insights with the Hoosier Herp Society, particularly on climate change effects on amphibians and the Lake Erie Water Snake Recovery Project.
