Description

This small lizard has tiny legs and rarely reaches 4 inches in length. Brown to bronze with a dark stripe down each side.

Habitat

Found on high ridges and lowland stream areas. Prefers dry, sparse woods or clearings. May be found under rocks, logs, or trash piles.

Reproduction

Little is known of the reproductive habits of this lizard. Females have been observed with 3 to 5 eggs.
